The South Beach/Mission Bay Business Association is pleased to present its 4th annual “A Taste of South Beach and Mission Bay” Street Fair. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, September 24th along the beautiful waterfront at Pier 40 on The Embarcadero; between Java House and AT&T Park from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
Our goal with The Taste is to bring attention, traffic and business to this rapidly expanding area of San Francisco. We are inviting our local South Beach and Mission Bay community, neighboring communities, and all the city of San Francisco to participate in a quality celebration of local cuisine, local businesses and most importantly, our community.
This year, proceeds from the event will benefit the South Beach/Mission Bay Business Association; and our non-profit beneficiary Project Open Hand, an organization that has been dedicated to delivering “meals with love” and meeting community nutrition needs through programs for people living with HIV/AIDS, the homebound/critically ill, and seniors for the last 25 years.
We will again have many excellent restaurants and bars in the South Beach and Mission Bay Area showcasing signature dishes and drinks, available for purchase during the event. The fair will also feature other neighborhood businesses, and there will be an entertainment stage with live music, a children's activity area and additional activities to enhance the fair and stage the spirit of our unique neighborhood.
Last year we had over 3,000 attendees, and this year we’re expecting more than 5,000! This will be an excellent opportunity for you all to get involved, show-off your talents and your products, and simply make this one of the most fun and exciting annual events for the locals, the city of San Francisco, and the greater Bay Area.
To participate in this year’s event, please review the information packet attached and fill out the Registration Form and return it by September 4th 2011 to reserve a space for your business. Spaces will be reserved on a first come first serve basis. On receipt of your registration form, we’ll send you a confirmation packet with additional information, vendor load-in and load-out schedule, parking, and more.
As a participating vendor you will be listed on our flyers (if contract received by
August 15th), on southbeachmissionbay.com, promotion to all neighboring
homeowners associations, and heavy social media (FB/Twitter) leading up
to the event. We are also submitting event to several "foodie" and event
websites to promote throughout the bay area. In addition - EACH VENDOR IS
REQUESTED TO EMAIL A LINK AND BLURB REGARDING THE EVENT!
If you have further questions please contact Katherine Webster at kwebster2004@yahoo.com
We’d be very excited to have you join us for “A Taste of South Beach and Mission Bay” this year, and we thank you for your consideration.
